From a standpoint of availability of knowledge, participate in the testing in 2009 is probably much easier than 15 years ago. The community is not only larger but also thanks to the Internet, to share with ease and in general to a large audience. While there are some excellent books on any subject of commercial test (which is becoming a big business ...) and plenty of interesting blogs, there are a number of very good magazines out there that are worth our attention.
